I know my flaws….

I am insecure and I know it…. Shit I show it, not on purpose though it just happens. I am sorry for all the pain and heart ache I have caused you. If you feel we should not be then okay, I will let you be. I know I will not die but I promise to never love another or give anyone any piece of me. The tree of love in me has been withering for years, a break up with you just might be enough to kill it.

Rime Game play Review

rime

To start off I went into this game with no knowledge of it`s background. Which did not sit well with me, I had to know why the boy was that island alone. So of course google helped me out, he was in a shipwreck and loss his father. This island represents that five stages of grief. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. The first stage of denial is a really beautiful place, then after you solved all the puzzles in there you go on to a dessert with a huge bird that really hates you. There are three windmills you have to let storm clouds out of to weaken the bird, and then steal a sphere you need from him to pass through the next stage. After that it becomes a very dark the rest of the way, you meet a stone age robot. That sends you on a mission to revive his friends, which in they sacrifice themselves to allow you to pass through the next door. I will not lie, the game only gives you spurs of information through out the game. So by the time you get to acceptance, you still do not know what is going on. I hope I have not said too many spoilers for you, the ending has a twist and I did not like. You are his father at the end of the game, and for some reason now instead of the father being dead. The young boy that you played the game with is dead. The father is going through acceptance, of that fact by letting the red cape the boy go in to air of the sea.

All together I give it 7 out 10 stars, the story line should give more detail so that you are only guessing so hardly on the puzzles and not what is going on so much. I was stoked about seeing the five stages of grieving through the creators eyes they did a fantastic job with the designs of each stage. Some gave me chills, I am big scary cat lol. But this is my review on the game, let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading!
