I followed a butterfly into the woods I admired the little butterfly.

I dreamed I was flying behind him. We had a magical time just being butterflies. Jealously grew inside of me as my butterfly exterior melted off.  I came back to the realization that I was myself again.

The butterfly kept flying. I wanted to fly with it into another life. A tear dropped as I gazed at the butterfly  flying away. I knew that type of freedom the butterfly has I can only dream about. As I went back on to the plantation my hands ached they shared the pain with my knees.

“Tired. What?… NO! We said forever, there are several cities we have yet to hit. If you wont come with me I will do it on my own. Answer around midnight. I know you just saying that stuff, your always loopy after we score.”

12:00 Am

*phone ringing*

“Darling, are you ready? I`ll be on my way.”

“I am not going I told you I am staying and you should too.”

“I should kill you….. (long pause) To hell with ya then.”

Hangs up.

Days later…

*News reporter on the radio*

“BREAKING NEWS There has been an end to a standoff at our local bank a woman tried to rob the bank and is now dead. An anonymous tip we received several days in advance proved good today. Sadly this women has been killed, but the funds have been returned to the bank. She has been involved in several robberies that have taken place around the country recently. Her partner was captured yesterday, in a city not to far from here. He went in to custody peacefully and he remains there while awaiting trial.”
